Tickets are generally non-refundable. RaiseWisely does not provide refunds for change of mind.
A refund or other resolution may only be available:
All requests are subject to review. Submitting a request does not create an entitlement to a refund, credit, transfer or other resolution.
An attendee who cannot attend because of legitimate exceptional or unforeseen circumstances may submit a written request for consideration.
Circumstances that may be considered include serious illness or injury, bereavement, a significant family emergency or another unforeseen event outside the attendee’s reasonable control.

A transfer, credit or alternative arrangement may be offered instead of a refund.
Where a discretionary refund is approved, the following minimum cancellation and administration fees apply:
Depending on the timing and circumstances of the request and the costs already incurred or committed, the Organiser may retain up to 35% of the ticket amount paid.
The applicable fixed cancellation and administration fee is the minimum amount retained and forms part of the total retained amount. It is not charged in addition to the 35% maximum retention.
Voluntary donations are excluded from refund calculations and remain non-refundable.
Funded ACCESS tickets are reserved for eligible attendees experiencing genuine financial barriers.
RaiseWisely may request confirmation of identity and brief supporting information reasonably required to verify eligibility.
Where eligibility cannot be verified, or where information provided is materially incomplete, inaccurate or misleading, the Organiser may review the attendee’s circumstances and determine the most appropriate resolution.
A resolution may include transfer to another eligible ticket type, payment of any applicable price difference, transfer to another eligible attendee, credit, cancellation, partial refund or another reasonable arrangement.
Where a refund is approved following Funded ACCESS ineligibility, the following minimum cancellation and administration fees apply:
Depending on the circumstances and costs incurred or committed, the Organiser may retain up to 35% of the ticket amount paid in total. The fixed fee forms part of, and is not added on top of, the total retained amount.

Information provided for eligibility assessment will be handled securely and confidentially and used only for eligibility assessment and legitimate registration administration.
Eligible tickets may be transferred to another attendee with the Organiser’s approval and subject to the conditions of the relevant ticket type.

Transfer requests should be submitted as early as reasonably possible. Approval of late transfer requests is not guaranteed.

An Impact Supporter Pass may be transferred for attendance purposes with prior written approval. Supporter recognition, acknowledgements and associated benefits do not automatically transfer.
Voluntary donations are separate from ticket purchases and are non-refundable.
A donation may only be refunded where it was processed more than once in error, an incorrect amount was entered and the Organiser is notified promptly, the payment was unauthorised, or a refund is otherwise required by law.
Failure to attend the Symposium does not entitle the purchaser or attendee to a refund, credit or reimbursement.
The Symposium program, speakers, sessions, delivery arrangements and schedule may change where reasonably required. A change to an individual speaker, session, topic or timetable does not automatically entitle the purchaser to a refund.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the Symposium is cancelled, materially changed or cannot be delivered as promised, any refund or other remedy required by law will apply.
